Five More House Republicans Endorse Jason Osborne for Speaker

Majority Leader Jason Osborne

AUBURN, N.H. — House Majority Leader Jason Osborne today announced five additional endorsements in his campaign for Speaker of the New Hampshire House — Rep. James Spillane (R-Deerfield), Rep. Cyril Aures (R-Chichester), Rep. Sherri Reinfurt (R-Goffstown), Rep. Clayton Wood (R-Pittsfield), and Rep. Jennifer Rhodes (R-Winchester) — building on the momentum of his campaign launch and first ten endorsements last week.

“I’ve been really encouraged by how many of the people I talk to share the vision I’m laying out for the House,” said Osborne. “That’s been my biggest takeaway from every conversation so far — and these endorsements are a reflection of it.”

“Leadership is about results, and Jason delivers,” said Rep. Clayton Wood. “He brings every member to the table, builds consensus, and turns it into wins for Republicans and for New Hampshire. I’m proud to back him for Speaker.”

“When the fight gets challenging, Jason is already prepared,” said Rep. Cyril Aures. “He has united the caucus, always willing to take on the tough issues and deliver Republican wins. He has earned my vote for Speaker.”

“Jason has delivered conservative results and led the House Republicans to deliver real and positive change for New Hampshire by expanding freedom,” said Rep. Sherri Reinfurt.

“When I fought to strengthen our criminal justice system and keep dangerous criminals behind bars, Jason Osborne helped clear the path and made sure those priorities had the support they needed to succeed,” said Rep. Jennifer Rhodes. “That’s the kind of Speaker New Hampshire needs.”

Rep. James Spillane, chairman of the House Fish and Game and Marine Resources Committee and Osborne’s district mate, offered an extended endorsement drawn from years of working alongside Osborne in the Legislature.

“What I appreciate most about Jason is that he understands that leadership is ultimately about service,” Spillane said. “He listens to members, respects differing viewpoints, and works tirelessly to build consensus while keeping the caucus focused on the goals that matter most to the people we represent.”

Osborne, the House Majority Leader and a state representative from Auburn, has made growing the Republican majority the centerpiece of his campaign for Speaker.

“I’m grateful to Jim, Cyril, Sherri, Clayton, and Jennifer for standing with us,” Osborne said. “A larger majority means a stronger New Hampshire, and I’ll keep earning the trust of our members the same way we’ll earn seats this fall — by showing up, doing the work, and delivering results.”

Jason Osborne is the Majority Leader of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and a state representative from Auburn.

Chairman, House Fish and Game and Marine Resources Committee

I am proud to endorse Representative Jason Osborne for Speaker of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

Jason is not only my district mate and a friend, but someone I have worked closely with and come to know over many years of service in the Legislature. During his tenure as Majority Leader, he has demonstrated the leadership, vision, and commitment necessary to guide our House through both challenges and opportunities while remaining focused on the principles that make New Hampshire unique.

As Chairman of the Fish and Game and Marine Resources Committee, I have seen firsthand how Jason has consistently supported committee chairmen and empowered us to do our jobs effectively. He has always made himself available when assistance was needed, ensured that important issues received a fair hearing within the caucus, and provided committee leaders with the opportunity to explain and advocate for legislation that mattered to our constituents. His leadership style is collaborative, respectful, and focused on results.

The successes achieved by our Republican majority over the past several years did not happen by accident. Jason has played a central role in helping coalesce the caucus behind policies that protect New Hampshire’s traditions of limited government and individual liberty. Under his leadership, we have continued to defend our status as a state with no income tax and no sales tax, expanded educational freedom and parental choice, strengthened our economy, and created an environment that attracts businesses, entrepreneurs, and job creators to New Hampshire.

What I appreciate most about Jason is that he understands that leadership is ultimately about service. He listens to members, respects differing viewpoints, and works tirelessly to build consensus while keeping the caucus focused on the goals that matter most to the people we represent.

The next Speaker of the House will help shape the direction of New Hampshire for years to come. I have complete confidence that Jason Osborne possesses the experience, judgment, and leadership necessary to meet that responsibility. He has my full support and endorsement for Speaker of the New Hampshire House in 2027.

— Representative James A. Spillane, Chairman, Fish and Game and Marine Resources Committee
