Osborne: The New Hampshire Advantage Is ‘On the Table’ Without a Strong Majority

Jason Osborne on the campaign trail

AUBURN, N.H. - House Majority Leader Jason Osborne today announced five more endorsements in his campaign for Speaker of the New Hampshire House: Rep. Denise DeDe-Poulin (R-Rochester), Rep. Henry Giasson III (R-Goffstown), Rep. Ray Plante (R-Dunbarton), and Rep. David Walker (R-Rochester), along with Hooksett Republican candidate Pam McMahon. Their support brings to 26 the number of House Republicans and candidates publicly backing Osborne for Speaker.

“Six years of Republican majorities cut taxes, eliminated the interest and dividends tax, expanded Education Freedom Accounts, and built the strongest gun rights protections in the country. All of it is on the table if we hand back the gavel. My job is to grow this majority in the fall and then run a House that respects its members and delivers for the people who sent us here,” said Osborne.

“The endorsements keep coming, and they are coming from both incumbents who have served alongside me and candidates who are about to. That is momentum, and we are going to keep building it.”

ICYMI: Patrick Hynes in the Union Leader

In a recent opinion column in the New Hampshire Union Leader, writer Patrick Hynes made his own case for Osborne, writing that “Jason Osborne has proven his mettle as Majority Leader” and “is the right choice for the next Speaker of the House.”
